Susan Keesee brings a compassionate heart and a strong academic foundation to our team, with a background in psychology and a master’s degree in health psychology. Her passion for working with older adults began during her time in a cardiac rehab unit, where she witnessed firsthand the power of encouragement, connection, and dignity in the healing process. After stepping away from the workforce to raise her three children—including advocating for and supporting her son on the autism spectrum—Susan remained actively involved in her community, volunteering with the senior members of her church. Now, she’s excited to return to the professional world and serve an industry that has personally touched her family. Susan lives in Roswell, GA with her husband and their beloved dog, Bailey—whom she proudly calls the best dog ever.
Not Your Average Joe was inspired by Amy's friend, Joe. Joe lived alone and was trying to manage his own physical, emotional, and healthcare needs. However, the demands grew too difficult for him to handle by himself. Amy was able to step in respectfully to provide much-needed resources and the proper care to fill in the gaps. As a result, Joe's quality of life improved significantly. From Joe, and many clients since, Amy has learned the importance of dignity and grace when assisting others--the true foundation of her calling to serve others well by going "above and beyond."
